A packed bowl and a bag do not mix. These elastic silicone caps stretch over the top of a glass bowl and hold everything in place, so nothing ends up loose in a pocket, a backpack or the back of a drawer.

How it fits

This is a universal stretch fit, not a threaded size. The band goes over the outside of the bowl, so it works across a range of bowl shapes and diameters. If you have been shopping by 10mm, 14mm or 18mm, that is the joint measurement where a bowl seats into a downstem, and it does not apply to a cover that sits on top.

Why we listed it

Almost every silicone cap sold in this space is really a cleaning plug: a multipack meant to seal a downstem and joint so you can shake solution through the piece without it leaking. Useful, but a different job. This one is built for the narrower task of covering a bowl that is already packed, which turns out to be a hard thing to find sold on its own.
