The bag you wear on one shoulder. It swings round to the front without coming off, so you can get at what is inside while standing up — a backpack has to come off first, and that is the moment everyone in the room looks at it.

How it differs from the Rogue backpack
Same maker, same lining, different carry. The Rogue is 20 × 12 × 6 in, has a padded laptop pocket and a combination lock. The Uptown has no lock — it is the grab-and-go option, not the one you leave somewhere. If locking matters more than format, take the Rogue.
On the carbon layer
Carbon does not last forever. It adsorbs until it is saturated, and heat and humidity use it up faster. Airing the bag open in a dry room between uses is the whole maintenance routine, and it is the difference between a bag that works for years and one that stops working in a season.
Keeping it fresh, not just contained
A carbon lining contains smell. It does not hold a humidity level, and those are two different jobs. For anything you are carrying more than a day or two, seal it in a container first — a CVault 2 oz or an ONGROK UV jar with a 62% pack inside — then load that into the bag.
