The lid is the rolling tray. Flip it over, set it on top of the box, and the surface you work on and the place everything lives are the same object — which is why this replaces a box plus a separate metal tray rather than sitting next to one.

What bamboo does and does not do
The maker calls it smell-resistant, which is the honest word and not one most listings in this category use. Magnets hold a lid shut; they do not compress a gasket. So this organises and it dampens, and the material itself still belongs in a sealed jar inside — see Keep It Fresh.
How it compares to the other two boxes here
This is the tray one, and the only one of the three where the tray is full width. The walnut box has rubber airtight seals and ships with a grinder and two jars. The acacia box has a combination lock. All three are roughly the same size.
