A small room purifier that treats odour as seriously as it treats dust — which is less common than it sounds, and it is the reason this one is on the list.
What it does

Ozone-free, and why that matters
It uses no UV-C. Purifiers that rely on UV-C can produce ozone as a by-product, and adding ozone to a room you are trying to make more pleasant is a poor trade. This one filters rather than reacts.
Choosing the replacement cartridge
More than one replacement exists, and the standard one is not the best choice if odour is your problem. There is a Toxin Absorber cartridge specialised for smoke and VOCs, and a Pet Allergy cartridge for dander. Most people replace like-for-like with whatever shipped in the box and never learn there was a better-matched option.
The cartridge is also replace-only — never washed or vacuumed. HEPA media depends on a fibre structure that water and suction both wreck, and a damaged filter looks and fits exactly like a good one.
